How anonymous is it, really?

Plenty of apps call themselves anonymous and then ask for your phone number. Stranger Connect doesn't. To start an anonymous chat you only:

• Confirm you're 18 or older — your date of birth is checked once and never stored.
• Pick a nickname — this is the only thing other people ever see.
• Choose a few interests — used for matching, nothing else.

There's no email address, no phone number, no real name, no contacts upload and no location tracking. You're signed in with an anonymous account that isn't tied to your identity.

Private one-on-one conversations

Every anonymous chat is between you and one other person. There are no public rooms, no feeds and no follower lists — nothing you say is broadcast. When both of you leave the conversation, the chat history is deleted from our servers.

Anonymous doesn't mean unsafe

Being anonymous should protect you, not the people who misbehave. That's why every chat has one-tap report and block, reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and anyone you block can never be matched with you again. Reports involving the safety of minors go to a dedicated top-priority queue.
