Random chat online with real strangers

What is random chat?

Random chat pairs you with someone you've never met for a spontaneous conversation. There's no searching through profiles and no waiting for a match to like you back — you start matching and a real person is on the other side moments later. Stranger Connect keeps it simple: one stranger, one private chat, one tap to move on.

Random, but not completely random

Pure randomness can make for awkward openers. When you set up Stranger Connect you pick a few interests — music, gaming, movies, anime, fitness, travel, coding, food and more — and we prefer pairing you with strangers who share at least one of them. You can also choose to match by gender preference instead. Either way the person is random; the first topic doesn't have to be.

Text chat, not webcam roulette

Most random chat sites push you onto camera. We don't. Stranger Connect is random text chat with optional photo sharing — no microphone, no webcam, no surprises on screen. You decide what to share and when.

• Instant matching — tap Start matching and get connected in seconds.
• Next button — skip to a new random stranger any time, no explanation needed.
• Icebreakers — prompts based on shared interests when you don't know what to say.
• Typing indicators and read receipts — it feels like a real conversation, because it is.
• Report and block in one tap — blocked users can never be matched with you again.
